Elvira Costa died March 12, 2004 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the sister of Frank and Manuel Costa of New Bedford, and the late Emily Cruz She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Costa was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Costa) Costa. She lived in this area all her life..

Ms. Costa was a tire builder at Goodyear Tire & Rubber until her retirement..

In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated. Interment of ashes will be private..
