New Bedford- Virginia (Linhares) Coelho Aged 88, Died Sunday March 21, 2004 @ New Bedford Health Care in New Bedford, She is survived by son Octavio Coelho & his wife Esperanca of Toronto, Canada, son Antonio Coelho & his wife Gilda of Toronto, Canada, daughter Maria Francisca Couto & her late husband Julio of San Miguel, daughter Gloria Coelho & her husband Jose of New Bedford, daughter Liliana Peixoto wife of Joao, son Antero Coelho & his wife Gloria, daughter Sofia Costa& her husband Antonio, Daughter Virginia Medeiros & her husband Luis All of New Bedford & son Francisco Coelho of Toronto Canada 26 Grand & 12 Great Grand.1 Brother Angelo Linhares of Rio de Janeiro, 7 Several Nieces & nephews.

Mrs. Coelho was born in Ribeira Quente St. Michael Azores,she lived in the New Bedford area since 1968. She was the daughter of the late Viginia & Manuel Linhares. She worked as a stitcher at Mickey Madan .She was a member of the Holy Rosary Society of Mt Carmel Church

Her funeral will be Wednesday March 24, 2004, from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 230 Bonney St., New Bedford, MA. Visiting hour will be Tuesday Evening from 5-9 P.M.
