Fall River –Jose M. Fernandes age 33 years, Died April 5, 2004 at St. Anne’s Hospital. He is survived by his wife Maria A. (Da Costa) Fernandes, a brother Domingos Fernandes of New Bedford, and his sisters Linda Simas, and Ana Medeiros, and Lucy Cabral all of New Bedford, he is also survived by Several Nieces & Nephews, and 6 Godchildren.
Mr. Fernandes was born in New Bedford, he lived in this area all his life. He was the son of Manuel and Ana (Fernandes) Fernandes. He was a forklift driver for American Flexible Conduit.
His funeral will be Thursday April 8, 2004, from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 8 A.M. with The Liturgy of the Word at 9 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 230 Bonney St., New Bedford, MA. Visiting hour will be Wednesday Evening from 5-8 P.M.
