Louis Carreiro

New Bedford – Louis Carreiro, age 56, passed away at home on Sunday September 2, 2012. He was born in St. Michael, Azores the beloved son of the late Isaura (Cardoso) Carreiro and the late Jaime Carreiro. He is survived by his brother Manuel Carreiro and his wife Shelley (Wheeler) of North Haven, Connecticut; his niece and godchild, Erin Carreiro of Brookline; sister in-law Elizabeth Carreiro of Marshfield and a niece: Emily Sanborn, her husband Loren of Kent, Connecticut; and a nephew Jamie Carreiro of Brooklyn, NY. He is the brother of the late Jose Carreiro.
Mr. Carreiro was a proprietor of a business that built office furniture.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Carreiro will be cremated.
