Maria Demelo

New Bedford-Maria Teresa (Oliveira) DeMelo., of New Bedford, died Monday, June 21, 2004, at St. Lukes Hospital. She was the Daughter of the late Maria Teresa ( Marques) and Joao Tavares Oliveira. Survivors include Her Daughter Grace wife of Dinarte Melo of New Bedford, 2 Sons Jose DeMelo and his wife Maria C. of New Bedford, and Manuel DeMelo and his wife Cynthia of New Bedford, 4 Grandsons Steven, Jason, Kenneth, and Chase DeMelo, 2 Grandaughters Michelle Mello and Kerrie Ann Melo, 1 Great Grandaughter Isabella DeMello.Several Nieces and nephews. She also had 2 deceased brothers Joao and Jordao Oliveira and 1 deceased sister Alice Oliveira.

Mrs. DeMello was a stitcher at Paul Modes and Cliftex

Mrs. DeMello funeral mass will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday June 23, 2004 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, New Bedford; her visiting hours will be Tuesday June 22, 2004 from 6-9 P.M.. She will be buried will be at St. John Cemetery.
