John F. Keigney

New Bedford – John F. Keigney, 82, died Thursday, January 3,2013, unexpectedly at home. John was the husband of the late Constance L. (Vertuccio) Keigney
Mr. Keigney was a son of the late John and Mary (Ployer) Keigney of Boston. He was born in Boston and worked at Port Terminals Inc. as a freight handler until his retirement. John was a member of the Local # 1454 of The International Brotherhood of Longshoreman and Freight Handlers.
Mr. Keigney is survived by two sisters: Helen Emberley of Peabody and Rita Kelly of Medford and a brother: Michael Keigney of Charlestown.
In accordance with his wishes he was cremated. Interment of his cremains will be at the convenience of the family.
