Maria B. (Farias) Carvalho

Maria B. (Farias) Carvalho passed away Monday, August 9 at her home on Terry Dr. in Dartmouth. She was the beloved mother of Edward Carvalho of Weare, NH, Maria N. Dumont of Dartmouth, Delores Moniz of Dartmouth, Teresa A. Cabral of Dartmouth and the late Luiz Carvalho. She had 1 sister; Filomena Lima of Dartmouth. Mrs. Carvalho had 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She also had several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Carvalho was born in Fall River, Ma, daughter of the late Manuel B. Farias and the late Alexandrina R. (Moreira) Farias. She lived most of her life in this area. Mrs. Carvalho worked as a Stitcher for local mills in the area.

Her Funeral Mass will take place Thursday, August 12, 2004 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9:00am. Family and friends are welcome. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, August 11 from 5-8pm.
