New Bedford – Ernesto “Quique” Cruz Poll, age 71 years, died on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Ernesto was born in Lares, Puerto Rico, son of the late Francisca Poll. Quique was employed as a laborer for various businesses. He enjoyed watching TV and loved playing scratch tickets
His survivors include his longtime companion Eva DeJesus; 2 children: Magaly Romero wife of Vidal and Miguel Perez all of New Bedford, 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
In accordance with his wishes, Ernesto was cremated. Visiting hours are omitted. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
