New Bedford – Alda DaRosa, age 84, passed away on Thursday September 19, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Antonio DaRosa of New Bedford. Alda was born in Fall River, the daughter of Maria (dosSantos) and Jose Mendonca.
Mrs. DaRosa’s funeral will be Monday, September 23rd at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford beginning at 9:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on the morning of, from 9:00-10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
