David Albert Ribeiro

David Albert Ribeiro, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Monday November 4, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the loving husband of Dorothy (Guay) Ribeiro of New Bedford. Born in Acushnet, Ma, he was the son of Isabel (Norte) and Albert Ribeiro. David was a lifelong resident of this area and worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as a Machine Operator. Mr. Ribeiro was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge and an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.
His surviving family includes his wife, Dorothy; 3 sons: David A.A. Ribeiro of Dartmouth, Craig R. Ribeiro and Chad J. Ribeiro, both of New Bedford; as well as 3 grandchildren: Madison, Levi and Jax.
Visiting hours for Mr. Ribeiro will take place in the funeral home on Wednesday, November 6 from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Rural Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
