New Bedford – Elsie Silva, age 96, passed away on Wednesday December 11, 2013. Elsie was born in New Bedford. Her family includes her daughter, Deborah Reis and her husband Henry of E. Freetown, grandchildren Robert, Tyler, Jazz, Heather, and Melissa as well as several great grandchildren.
Elsie’s visiting hours will take place on Monday morning in the funeral home from 7:30 A.M. – 8:30 A.M. with a Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Mass National Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Arrangements placed in the care of PERRY FUNERAL HOME, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
