Joseph V. Medeiros

New Bedford – Joseph V. Medeiros, age 42 of New Bedford, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Royal Taber Nursing Home. He was the loving husband of Bridget Martel-Medeiros and the son of Pauline (Jean) and Joseph V. Medeiros. Mr. Medeiros was born in Fall River, lived most of his life in this area and worked as a Machine Operator at Precix Inc.
Joseph loved the outdoors. He was passionate about fishing and was a bow hunting enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife, Bridget, of New Bedford; and 2 children: Ethan Caneira and Julia Caneira, both of New Bedford.
There will be visitation with his cremains present in the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St.
