New Bedford – Lucia A. Jose, age 75 of New Bedford, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the widow of Jaime Jose and the daughter of Maria (Reis) and Jose Bispo.
Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Lucia spent most of her life in this area and did office work for Pioneer Basement Waterproofing Co.
She is survived by 2 sons: Jaime Jose and his wife, Tiffany, of Acushnet and Jonathan Jose and his wife, Gladys, of New Bedford; 4 grandchildren: Amanda, Jaime, Trinity and Hailey; a brother, Jose A. Bispo of South Carolina; as well as 2 nieces.
In accordance with her wishes, her arrangements were private and placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, Ma.
