P>New Bedford, Gil Moniz died Monday April 18, 2005, at St. Lukes Hospital . He was the husband of Maria C.(Amaral) Moniz. Survivors include 2 Daughters Maria Saravia of Freetown and Dolores Buckley of So.Dartmouth and 2 Sons David Moniz and Gil Moniz both of New Bedford 4 Grandchildren and 2 Greatgrandchildren

Mr. Moniz was a Floorman at Tichon Fish Processing until his retirement. He was also a Member of the Teamsters Local 59

Mr. Moniz was born in New Bedford Ma. He was the son of the late Maria Linhares (Cruz) and Manuel P. Moniz

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday April 21, 2005 at at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 AM Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 4 to 8 P.M., on Wednesday April 20, 2005 at the Perry Funeral Home.
