New Bedford – Joao C. Santos, age 73, passed away on Thursday July 16, 2015 at the Oaks . Born in St. Michael, Acores, Joao was a resident of New Bedford since 1971, his parents were Encarnacao (Pereira) Santos and the late Joao C. Santos Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Osvalda Maria (Amaral) Santos, 4 children: Dina M. and Kevin Santos both of Florida, Michael and Johnny Santos both of New Bedford, 7 grandchildren: Christopher Santos, Anthony Delacruz, Sonaro Santos, Austin Santos, Michael Santos, Joshua Santos and Alyssa Arguenta, 4 brothers and 2 sisters: Vanda Santos, Gloria Santos, Ernest Santos, Antonio Santos, Manuel Santos and Jose Santos and several nieces and nephews..
Joao work as a landscaper for Francisco Tavares Landscaping.
