Porfidia Vasquez Beaucage

New Bedford – Porfidia Vasquez Beaucage, age 40, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the loving daughter of Emily (Jorge) Vasquez and the late Clario Vasquez.

A lifelong resident of this area, Porfidia worked as a Nurse’s Aide at St. Luke’s Hospital.

She is survived by her mother, Emily (Jorge) Vasquez, of New Bedford, 4 children: Steven Beaucage and Sterling Beaucage, both of Central Falls, RI, and Styles and Sasha Beaucage; 2 siblings: Raymond Kennedy of Fairhaven and Maria Coe of New Bedford; as well as 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Esther Almeyda.
A Graveside service will be held at Rural Cemetery on Monday, October 5 at 12:00 P.M. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, MA.
