Claire Oliveira

Fairhaven – Claire Oliveira, age 86, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Royal of Fairhaven Nursing & Rehabilitation Home of Fairhaven. She was the loving daughter of the late Enos and Mary (Perry) Oliveira.

She was born in New Bedford, was a lifelong resident of this area and was a manager of the Kids Echo Boutique in Freetown.

Her family includes: daughter, Darlene Sullivan and her husband, Patrick; son, Richard Cabral; daughter, Kathleen Stout and her husband, Scott; daughter, Maureen Galovotti; 21 Grandchildren; 25 Great Grandchildren; several deceased brothers and sisters; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late William Cabral.

Her funeral will be Tuesday beginning in the funeral home at 9:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to take place at St. John the Baptist Church of Westport at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery of Westport. Visiting hours will be Monday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
