Joyce Correia

Fall River — Joyce Correia, age 74 of Dartmouth, passed away Monday March 6, 2017 at St. Anne’s Hospital. She was the loving daughter of the late John and Helen (Sylvia) Martin.

A lifelong resident of this area, Ms. Correia worked as an Activities Assistant for area nursing homes for many years until retirement.

She is survived by 3 children: Karen McNamara and her husband, John, of Dartmouth, John Correia of Fairhaven and Charlene Costa and her husband, John, of Dartmouth; her longtime companion, John Pauline of Dartmouth; 3 grandchildren: Jeremy McNamara, Garret Costa and Grayden Costa; 2 siblings: Laverne Moniz of Dartmouth and Brian Martin and his wife, Kathy, of New Bedford; as well as 2 nieces.
