New Bedford – Abraham Talavera, age 67 of New Bedford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the beloved the son of the late Ernestina (Lopez) and Domingo Talavera. He was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
He is survived by 5 sisters, Abigail Rodriguez, Amaris Rodriguez, Maria Padilla, Martha Soto, and the late Elizabeth Talavera; 4 brothers, Domingo Talavera, Jr., David Talavera, Nephtali Talavera and the late Isaac Talavera; as well as several nieces and nephews.
His funeral services will be Wednesday morning at the funeral home with visiting time between 9:00-10:00 A.M. followed with a service to begin at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow at Rural Cemetery.
