Sharon (Griffin) Alford

New Bedford – Sharon (Griffin) Alford, age 65 of New Bedford, passed away after a long illness on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at The Oaks. She was the beloved daughter of the late Dorothy McGehee and Charles Griffin.

She is survived by 3 sons, Elanson (Lance) Alford of Rochester, MA, Bruce Alford of Woonsocket, R.I. and Carlton Griffin of New Hampshire; 3 sisters, Joanne McGehee of New Bedford, Roxanne Cabral of Mashpee, MA and Kim Bishop of Woonsocket, R.I.; as well as 8 grandchildren.

Her visiting hours will be held Sunday afternoon from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A service will be held during that time and will start at 1:00 P.M.
