Betty Ann Tomko

New Bedford – Betty Ann (Mead) Tomko, age 87, passed away on June 5, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. A lifelong resident of New Bedford, she was the wife of the late Thomas Joseph Tomko, daughter of the late Charles H. and Eleanor (Peters) Mead.

Betty was a home maker to her loving family. Occasionally she would volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital in her spare time.

She is survived by her sons: Michael Tomko of Fairhaven and Thomas Tomko Jr. of New Bedford; Sister: Shirley Vital; niece: Patricia Vital and a cousin Robert.

Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. Her funeral will be held Friday morning, June 8th, 2018 beginning at 9:45 A.M. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. At St. Julie Billiart Church in Dartmouth.Burial will immediately follow in South Dartmouth Cemetery. Arrangements are placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford, MA 02740.
