Doris M. Mello

New Bedford – Doris M. Mello, age 92, of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford. She was the beloved wife of the late Antone C. Mello and the daughter of the late Norman and Annette (McCartney) Sandiford.

Doris was born in New Bedford and lived in North Dartmouth all her life. She was a homemaker to her loving family.

She is survived by 2 sons; Jerome C. Mello and Antone C. Mello Jr. and his wife Lu-Ann; 7 Grandchildren: Lisa Blood and her husband Jeffrey, Shaun Mello, Kelly Richard and her husband Eric, Keith Mello and his wife Kerri, Cheryl Johnson and Deborah Supulski; 4 great-grandchildren: Briana Blood, Haylie Richard, Carter Richard and Ryker Blood. She was also the mother of the late Patricia Texeira and David Johnson and the grandmother of the late Kevin Mello.

In accordance with her wishes Doris’ funeral arrangments are private.
