David Maldonado

Rhode Island – David Maldonado, age 57, of New Bedford, passed away on July 30, 2019 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was born in New Bedford to Marita (Jorge) and the late Jose Maldonado Sr. and was formerly employed at Atlas Screws. David liked to dance, sing and especially make people laugh.

He is survived by his mom, Marita; a daughter, Tiarah Maldonado and a son, Edwin Garcia; grandchildren, Nomyar Maldonado, Lee’Ann dosSantos and Amyah’ Lee Rosario; brothers, Jose Maldonado Jr and his wife Brandy, Roger Maldonado and his wife Evelyn and Mathew Maldonado and his wife Heather; sisters, Linda Racine and her husband Ronald and Melinda Menard and her life partner Matt Silva; former wife, Marisol Maldonado; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Edward Maldonado.

David’s visiting hours will be held on Thursday evening, August 8th from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. a service will be held during Visiting Hours. Burial will be private.
