Fairhaven – John Correia, Jr., age 83, of New Bedford, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Royal of Fairhaven Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband of Geraldine (Couto) Correia.
John was born in New Bedford, MA to the late John and Rose (Perry) Correia. He had been a U. S. Marine and later worked as a salesman for Lesco Tobacco and Candy Company.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; his daughter, Debra Vieira; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Bouchard, Alexandria Vieira and Cameron Vieira; 2 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Joan Kandt of Florida and Jane Santos.
