Sandra (Medeiros) Dedeus

New Bedford – Sandra (Medeiros) Dedeus, age 78, of New Bedford passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Hathaway Manor surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Angelo Dedeus.

Born in New Bedford, MA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Antone P. Medeiros and Cisaltina (Souza) Medeiros. Sandra had worked in the cafeteria at Keith Junior High School.

She loved spending time with her family, especially loved babysitting for her grandchildren and loved cooking.

She is survived by her husband, Angelo; children, Shawn Dedeus and his wife Tammy of New Bedford, Becky Rebelo of New Bedford, Jayme Dedeus and his wife Raegan and Erin Lynch and her husband Dudley of New Bedford; grandchildren, Kelsey, Alexis, Jadelynn, Paige, Taryn, Brylee, Coryn, Candin and Khalil; siblings, Ken Medeiros of Wareham, Patricia Amaral of Dartmouth, Madelyn Soares of New Bedford, Gary Medeiros of New Bedford and Douglas Medeiros of New Bedford; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Robert Medeiros and Beverly Medeiros.

Sandra’s funeral services will be private due to the recent mandated restrictions in regards to the Covid-19 Pandemic. A Mass will be held at a later date. Please check back on our website for the update. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this very difficult time.
