Alcides M. Goncalves

New Bedford – Alcides M. Goncalves, age 68, of New Bedford passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Pauline M. (Costa) Goncalves.

Born in Terceira, Azores, Portugal he was the beloved son of the late Alcides Goncalves and Maria (Vieira) Goncalves.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline; 4 sons, Nelson Goncalves, Kelvin E. Goncalves, Justin A. Goncalves and Jonathan A. Goncalves; grandchildren, Joao Goncalves, Alexus Goncalves and Karter E. Goncalves; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.

Alcide’s funeral services will be private due to the recent mandated restrictions in regards to the Covid-19 Pandemic. A Mass will be held at a later date. Please check back on our website for the update. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this very difficult time.
