Elias Acevedo

New Bedford – Elias Acevedo, age 78, of New Bedford passed away on Sunday May 3, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the son of the late Antonia Olivera and Elias Acevedo.

He was born in Guanica, Puerto Rico and had worked as a Security Guard and Commercial Transportation.

Elias is survived by 4 daughters and 2 sons, Cesar Acevedo, Jenny Acevedo, Patricia Acevedo, Neddy V. Acevedo, Yaisary Acevedo and Joshua Acevedo; 15 grandchildren, Rene, Joselyn, Eliud, Yami, Shanty, Samantha, Jeylianne, Jennifer, Kristal, Gilberto, Jason, Angel Luis, Diego Jose, Sairialys and Yamuel; great-grandchildren, Jayla, Jelise, Rory, Kaden, Yamil, Yediel, Yirais and Kaleb; as well as 1 late Aunt Pepa.

Elias’s funeral services will be private due to the recent mandated restrictions in regards to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
