Margarita Cintron

Rhode Island – Margarita Cintron, age 82, of New Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Jesus Baerga.

Born in Villalba, Puerto Rico, she was the beloved daughter of Fundadol Cintron and Blasina Hernandez. She had been a loving homemaker to her family for many years.

Margarita’s survivors include her children, Francheska Suriel, Edwin Fernandez, Jesus Baerga, Marisol Baerga, Luis Baerga, Zoraida Fernandez and Alvin Fernandez; her sons and daughters-in-law, Luis Perez, Samuel Adorno, Lydia Cintron and Maria Cruz; her siblings, Alvira Cintron, Rosa Cintron, Onelia Cintron and Jose Cintron.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Valerie Colon, Janieliz Perez, Jayden Perez, Gianna Perez, Viviana Santiago, Flor Santiago, Jose Santiago, Iris Fernandez, Maria Fernandez, Glenda Fernandez, Alvin Issac Fernandez, Yamaris Fernandez, Angel Fernandez, Gerardin Adorno, Samuel Adorno, Jesus Imael Baerga, Jesus Baerga, Luis Baerga, Yancarlos Baerga, Mayeliz Baerga, Luis Yariel Baerga, Dimaris Fernandez, Ucho Fernandez, Edwin Fernandez, Alber Fernandez, Justin Suriel, Kisang Acevedo, Hector Fernandes and Joel Fernandez.

Margarita’s visiting hours will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a service to take place during this time. Burial will be private.

Due to COVID restrictions, please be aware that all attendees are required by current mandated restrictions to wear a face covering at all times, to social distance 6 feet and to please refrain from any close physical contact.
