Olga V. Tavares

Fairhaven – Olga V. (Violante) Tavares, age 89, of Fairhaven, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Alden Court Nursing Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was the beloved wife of Edmund M. Tavares.

Olga was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Antonio Nunes Violante and Deolinda daConceicao (Pereira) Violante. Olga earned a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree and went on to work for the Montgomery County Maryland, New Bedford and Dartmouth Public School System as a middle school teacher.

Olga is survived by her husband, Edmund .

Olga’s funeral services are private.
