Orlando – Steven Charles Eaton passed away unexpectedly at the age of 71 on June 10, 2021, at his home. He was the husband of Patti (Faria) Eaton.

Born in Acushnet, MA, he was the beloved son of the late Charles and Eva Eaton. Steve retired from working as the Facilities Supervisor at NBC Sports Golf Channel in Florida. He was a very active finish carpenter in New Bedford and the surrounding towns most of his life. He was a proud graduate of the U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Depot of Parris Island. He loved his Fords, classic Disney films, Broadway musicals, martial arts, Hawaiian shirts, Christmas, the History channel, purple gel pens, theme parks, watches, Bo, MJ and Winslow, music, giving and receiving cards, relaxing at his pool oasis, driving around exploring, predicting the weather, taking care of his plants, avoiding broccoli, visiting the Carolinas, living in Florida, car shows at Old Town with his closest friends, and his children most of all.

Steve is survived by his wife, his children, Sarah and her companion Derek Maniates of Florida, Johnathan of Massachusetts, Leslie Ann of Massachusetts and Linda Sue of Massachusetts, his sisters Sandra of New Hampshire and Susan of Maine, his brother Scott of New Bedford, many loving aunts and uncles, as well as several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Sharon Rebello. He will be greatly missed but continue to live on through his family and many close friends from his early life, career and time in Florida.

Visiting hours will be held at Perry Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. and followed by a graveside service at Rural Cemetery at 12:30 P.M.
