Ilda (Oliveira) Alvernaz

Dartmouth – Ilda O. (Oliveira) Alvernaz, age 95, of Dartmouth, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Manuel Alvernaz.

Ilda was born in in Sao Jorge, Azores to the late Joao Oliveira and Madalana (DaSilva) Oliveira. She had worked as a stitcher for a local clothing manufacturer for many years.

Ilda is survived by her daughter, Ana Araujo and her 2 grandchildren, Abel Araujo and Michael Araujo.

Ilda’s funeral services were private.
