Manuel M. Sabino

New Bedford – Manuel M. Sabino, age 90 of South Dartmouth, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Cecelia (Arruda) Sabino.

Manuel was born in Salga, St. Michael, Azores and was the son of the late Joao Sabino and Maria (DeMelo) Sabino. He worked at Frionor for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Cecelia; his daughters, Diane Ybarra and her husband Federico, Doreen Hebert and her husband Dennis and Coleen Pimentel and her husband Daniel; his son, Michael Sabino; 7 grandchildren, Katie, Adam, Rebecca, Ryan, Nathan, Cody and Elizabeth; brothers, Joseph Sabino, Liberio Sabino and Humberto Sabino.

Manuel was the father of the late Suzanne Sabino and grandfather of the late Charles and Emily.

The most important thing to him was his family and he will be always remembered as a loving husband and caring father.

His visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Perry Funeral Home from 8:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
