Baltazar Joao Laborinho

New Bedford – Baltazar Joao Laborinho, age 70, of New Bedford, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Vasco) Laborinho, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.

Baltazar was born in Peniche, Portugal to the late Antonio Laborinho and Benvinda Bruno. He had been a fisherman for years, working on several local fishing vessels.

He leaves behind his loving wife and family, especially his granddaughters, who were his heart.

His survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Maria; his 2 loved daughters, Ana Duarte and her husband Paul and Maria Antao and her husband Tony; his dearly loved granddaughters, Alyssa Duarte, Caitlin Antao, Hailee Duarte, Lauren Antao and Emily Antao.
