Salome (Stringer) Spaziano

Worcester – Salome (Stringer) Spaziano, age 71, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester.

Salome was born in Washington D.C. to the late Erford Stringer and Ruth (Cunningham) Stringer. She had been a bookkeeper and a waitress for many years. She loved her children and grandchildren very much. She loved playing bingo and games on her phone. She was an amazing woman who gave her all for her family.

Salome is survived by her children; Sherri Desmarais of New Bedford, David Gracia of New Bedford, Misty Monty of Worcester and son-in-law Paul Desmarais Jr of New Bedford; her siblings, Erford Stringer lll and his partner Linda Gamble of Maryland; 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Richard Wayne Gracia, sister, Mona Keene and brothers, Roy Stringer and Wallace Stringer.

A celebration of Salome’s life is planned for Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. with a service to take place during this time at Perry Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
