Paulo Cardoso

Dartmouth – Paulo Cardoso, 40, of Dartmouth, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, February 10, 2022. Born in New Bedford, son of Joaquim and Maria Cardoso.

Paul was a graduate of Dartmouth High School, class of 1999. He loved fishing and catching a good bass, he adored spending time with his nephew and niece, making to do lists, looking for that next pair of designer sneakers or sunglasses and really enjoyed listening to music- his favorites being hip hop and techno. He also had a love for horticulture.

Paul faced obstacles many people couldn’t ever imagine, but he loved deeply and was an emotional person. Paul will hold a special place in all our hearts- we all knew him differently and at different times in his life as well as ours. If you were lucky enough, you had a chance to dance with Paul, drink a coffee, have a cigarette together and share a part of your life with him.

Survivors include his mother and father, his sister Bela, brother Matt, brother-in-law Ty, nephew Jackson and niece Hannah, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Paul was the grandson of the late Manuel and Adelaide Cardoso and Jacinto and Maria Gomes.

A Memorial Mass for Paul will be held with his cremains on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at St. Mary's Church in Dartmouth at 11:00 A.M. All attendees are kindly asked to meet directly at the church.
