Christopher L. Martins

New Bedford – Christopher L. Martins, age 42, of New Bedford passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born in New Bedford, MA he was the beloved son of Ana M. (Aguiar) Martins and the late Eduardo J. Martins. He had been employed as a cashier for Stop & Shop over the years.

Christopher is survived his mother, Ana M. Martins; his sister, Patricia Martins; his nephew and godson, Cayden deMedeiros and his aunt and uncle, Margarida Barao and her husband Francisco.

Christopher’s visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. His funeral will take place on Friday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will immediately follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
