Alda O. (Pacheco) Alexander

New Bedford – Alda O. (Pacheco) Alexander, age 83, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at home after a courageous battle with ALS. Alda was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Elmina Pacheco as well as loving mother, Avo and Madrinha to all.

She is survived by her son, Steven Alexander and his wife Mary and two grandchildren, Brandon and Paige of Dartmouth; her brother, Ilidio Pacheco and his wife Fatima of Acushnet; her nephew, Ilidio Pacheco and his wife Gorette of San Jose, CA; as well as many beloved cousins and family members.

Alda’s visiting hours and funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Perry Funeral Home. Visiting hours will take place from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. with a service at 12:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
