Esteban Nieves

New Bedford – Esteban Nieves, age 84, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Esteban was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico to the late Jesus Nieves Ortiz and Maria Alberta Andino. He had worked as a carpenter, worked on upholstery and also worked in the maintenance department at Melville Towers.

He is survived by his sons, Esteban Nieves and Efrain Nieves; daughters, Migdalia Nieves, Edyzaida nieves, Luze Nieves, Irma Nieves and Doris Cardona; brothers, Jesus Nieves, Pedro Nieves and Antonio Nieves; sisters, Lydia E. Nieves, Alicia Nieves, Zenaida Nieves, Francisca Nieves and Carmen Nieves.

Esteban’s visiting hours and funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Perry Funeral Home. Visiting hours will take place from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. with a service at 11:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
