Maria (Portal) Moniz

Acushnet – Maria (Portal) Moniz, age 58, of Acushnet, MA, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Manuel Moniz.

Maria was born in Chaves, Portugal and was the beloved daughter of Lidia (de Jesus) Portal and the late Alvaro Portal. She had been an activities director at the Oaks Nursing Home over the years.

Maria is survived by her husband, Manuel; son, Mark Moniz; daughter, Kelly Moniz; sister, Maria Isabel Pacheco and her 2 brothers, Carlos Portal and Vincent Portal.

Maria’s funeral arrangements are private.
