Gail Souza

Fall River – Gail Souza, age 72, of Fairhaven, MA, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Fall River HealthCare.

Gail was born in New Bedford, MA and was the beloved daughter of the late John Souza Jr. and Madelyn Ann (Cuttle) Souza. She had been the first girl in New Bedford to receive her black belt in Tae Kwon Do from Lee’s Karate School and she loved and adored animals.

Gail is survived by her brother John Souza III of St. Petersburg, FL; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her late sister, Karen Souza and late brother, Wayne Souza, who was in the New Bedford High School Hall of Fame for football and track and later went on to play football in Wisconsin.

Gail’s funeral arrangements are being held in private.
