New Bedford MA- Olga (Modesto) Jernigan passed away Monday May 29, 2006 at home. She was the wife of Shirley H. Jernigan for 55 yrs.
Mrs. Jernigan was the Daughter of Manuel and Gilberta (Paiva) Modesto. She was born in New Bedford and lived here most of Her life.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. on Friday June 2, 2006. Followed by the burial at Rural Cemetery. At the request of the family, arrangements were private.
