Suzanne Drolet

New Bedford - Suzanne Drolet, age 58, Passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital with her loving family by her side. Suzanne was born in New Bedford to the late Donald Drolet and Rita (Dextraze) Mello.

Suzanne is survived by her children Joe Drolet and his wife Samantha, Jonathan DaSilva Sr. and his wife Monica, and Jeremy Drolet and his partner Elizabeth Morano; her grandchildren Amélia DaSilva, Jonathan DaSilva Jr, Adriana Drolet, and Kevin Gilmour; her siblings Michelle Teixeira and her husband Joseph, Monique Drolet, and Stephen Drolet and his wife Lisa; her Godson Joseph Teixeira III; her Godparents Florence Cabral and Edward Cabral; her uncle William Dextraze; her long time friend Nancy Pittsley; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Suzanne was predeceased by her fiancé John Tavares.

Suzanne’s Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Perry Funeral Home from 11:00AM to 2:00PM, Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to assist with funeral costs would be greatly appreciated.
