Sheryl Ann (Demello) Defreitas

New Bedford - Sheryl Ann DeFreitas, age 58, of New Bedford, MA passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital.

She was born in New Bedford, MA to Toby (Sylvia) DeMello and the late Richard DeMello. She had worked as a Fish Cutter in the Fishing Industry. She had a love for her family as well as her pets and animals.

Sheryl is survived by her mother, Toby DeMello; her sons, Justin DeFreitas and Jason DeFreitas; her daughter, Krystle DeFreitas; grandson, LeDanian Ortiz; brothers, Scott DeMello and David DeMello; as well as several nieces and nephews.
