p>New Bedford – Guilherme Aguiar passed away July 17, 2006 at St. Lukes Hospital after a long illness. He was the husband of Alzira Elsie (Ferreira) Aguiar .He is survived by a Brother Alfred Aguiar of Fairhaven and several nieces and nephews.
Mr Aguiar was a son of Maria (Pacheco) and Manuel P. Aguiar .He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of his life. He was formerly employed as a Painter for Aerovox. He was a member of Whaling City Social Club, and the Stackhouse Club.
His funeral will be at 8:00 a.m. Friday from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St., New Bedford, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday July 20, 2006 from 6 to 8 PM.
