Alfred C. Lawrence

New Bedford-Alfred C. Lawrence age 80 years died Tuesday February 13th, at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of Maria (Guiomar) Lawrence. He was the father of Rebecca L. Lawrence, of Dartmouth,and Janet of New Bedford. He was the brother of Florence Carvalho of FT. Lauderdale, FL., Mary Lawrence of New Bedford, and the late Arthur, his “Twin” Albert, and Frank Lawrence Jr. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews.

Mr. Lawrence was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Santos) Lawrence. He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all his life. He was a cook at local restaurants. He was a World War II veteran with the U.S. Navy as a cook 3rd Class.

In accordance with his wishes he was cremated.
