Maria Fatima (Borges) Pereira

New Bedford-Maria Fatima (Borges) Pereira age 63 years died Thursday March 15, 2007 at home. She was the widow of Manuel John Pereira .She was the mother of Judith Raposa, Rosemarie Silva, Jeffery Pereira , the mother in law of Jennifer Da Silva all of New Bedford. She was the loving grandmother of John Raposo, Cheryl Silva, Natasha Raposo, Kayla Duggan, and Selina Pereira. She was the sister of Maria Ledo of New Bedford.

Mrs. Pereira was the daughter of the late Gilda and Antonio ( Ferreira) Borges. She was born in Ribeira Grande, Portugal, she has lived in this area since 1961.She was a Stitcher for Paul Modes Inc.

Mrs Pereira’s Funeral will be from Perry Funeral Home, March 17, 2007 at 8 A.M .with a Mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmal Church 9 A.M. Visting hours will be Friday Evening 6-8P.M. She will be buried at St John Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to attend.
