Joao P. Silva

Boston-Joao P. Silva, age 78 year, died at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston MA. He was the husband of Maria (Monte)Silva of New Bedford,MA. He was the father of Manuel Hernani husband of Fernanda Silva of New Bedford, MA. He was the brother of Maria wife of Jose Cabral of Dartmouth, MA. He was the brother of the late Manuel and Jose Silva, also survived by 2 Sister-in-Laws Maria and Georgina Silva,and by 10 nephews and 2 nieces.

Mr. Silva was the son of the late Joao and Julia (Cabral)Silva. He was born in Mosteiros Sao Miguel, Azores,Portugal. Mr Silva worked at Nutex as a Assembler before retiring.

Mr. Silva funeral will be Saturday from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday evening from 5 to 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
