Antone Dias

New Bedford - Antone Dias, age 79 years, died August 28, 2007 at St. Lukes Hospital after a brief illness. He was the father of Sharon Lee Rocha and father-in-law of Paul Rocha of Dartmouth, Ma., grandfather of Kerry Bianco of Florida and Keith Rocha of Dartmouth, great grandfather of Kayla and Nathan Bianco, brother of Alice Santos of Dartmouth and the late Mary Pimental.

Mr. Dias was the son of the late Sophie (Oliveira) and Manuel G. Dias. He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all his life. He was a member of the Portuguese American Social club of S. Dartmouth. He was formerly employed as a driver and salesman for Table Talk and Hostess Cake Co.

Mr. Dias' funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home, Saturday, September 1 at 7:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church South Dartmouth, at 9 A.M. Visiting hours will be Friday evening from 6 - 9 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Burial will be at Rural Cemetery.
