Noemia (Carreiro) Lawrence

New Bedford – Noemia (Carreiro) Lawrence, aged 80 years, died Monday, December 10, 2007 at Brandon woods of Dartmouth after a long Illness . Mrs Lawrence was the wife of the late of Teofilo Lawrence . She was the sister of Louis Carreiro of Fairhaven, and is also survived by 1 niece and 2 nephews.

Mrs. Lawrence was the daughter of the late Constantina (Moniz) and Antonio G. Carreiro. She was born in New Bedford, Ma. She was formerly employed as a Presser for local Textile Mills and also worked at the Gosnald Mill.

Mrs. Lawrence's Funeral is from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St., on Friday at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 6-8 P.M.
