New Bedford-Horacio P. Medeiros age 76 died Wednesday February 13, 2008 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a illness. He was the husband of Maria C. (Sousa) Medeiros of New Bedford, Father of Maria E. “Stella” Farias of Westport, Horacio A., Francisco, Messiah “Mitch”, and Stephen Medeiros all of New Bedford. Brother of Lourdes Amaral of Fall River. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Medeiros was the son of the late Maria M. (Ferreira) and Manuel P. Medeiros. He worked as a laborer for Frionor U.S.A.
Mr. Medeiros’s Funeral will be on Saturday at 8 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 5-8 P.M. on Friday
